Manufacturing Academy Pre-Apprenticeship Program

The Manufacturing Academy (MA) is a 10 week, workforce pre-employment training program designed by local employers, WorkForce Central and AJAC to prepare workers for manufacturing and aerospace careers. MA Instructors are industry professionals. Skills taught include, but are not limited to soft skills, manufacturing basics, blueprint reading, welding and composites, with certification in forklift, flagger, OSHA and lean processes.

Apprenticeship combines supervised on-the-job training experience (93% of the time) with classroom instruction (7% of the time).
