Claire Nurcombe joined the Aircraft Interiors Marketing team at the beginning of 2009 from the Airbus engineering design office. She is the focal point for seating products and passenger comfort and well-being within the team. Her responsibilities involve driving Airbus’ product offer to anticipate and meet the latest trends for the cabin.

She has held several roles within customer support and engineering directorates, in both France and Germany, since joining Airbus in 1998. She has a BEng (Hons) in aeronautical engineering from Loughborough University in the UK.

Claire Nurcombe’s passion for all things aeronautical is reflected in her first solo glider flight on her 16th birthday. She also enjoys hill walking and is a keen genealogist. She was born in 1975 in Spain and is married with a son.
