Providing creative direction in Teague's Aviation Studio, Associate Creative Director Jenny Ruegamer ensures that the projects she oversees have a clear design brief, language and story.
After earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Washington, she moved to Japan, where she designed modular housing. In the past, she has put her interior design talents to work at Amazon, Costco and El AL. Current clients include Boeing, AeroMexico and Air Canada.
Given that Jenny Ruegamer works with airlines, it’s no surprise that she loves to travel and draws inspiration from the places she has been; when she finds herself abroad, she always tries to devote an afternoon to wandering around a new city. In addition to living in Japan and Mexico, she has travelled to Qatar, India, the Philippines, Turkey, Brunei and Chile.
Jenny Ruegamer feels strongly that working in different cultures offers a vastly different—and richer— experience than visiting as a tourist. If she could redesign anything, it would be the branded travel experience. Her mantra? Simplicity and clarity of design.
